Amafilter® bag filter housings can be used as end-filtration or for the polishing of liquids with extremely low concentrations of solids.
Amafilter® offer customised single and multi bag filter housings to suit specific applications for higher temperatures, higher pressures or different housing materials.
Suitable for edible oil applications
Amafilter® AFE bag filter housings are commonly used during several filtration process steps in edible oil applications. The AFE bag filter housings are excellent as safety filtration, after bleaching or as polishing filtration of edible oil.
Suitable for water applications
Amafilter® AFB bag filter housings are suitable for water processes and non-hazardous liquids and conform to PED2014/68EU article 4, paragraph 3.
Suitable for hazardous and non-hazardous liquids applications
The amafilter® AFZ single bag filter housing is suitable for filtering hazardous and non-hazardous liquids and gaseous media as per the PE PED2014/68/EU directive, with a design filter housing according AD2000 Regelwerk.
Suitable for water treatment applications
The amafilter® AFH bag filter housing is ideal for applications from pre-filtration for reverse osmosis to filters for washing installations and filters for cooling or heating water.
Suitable for water treatment and R.O. pre-filtration
The amafilter® AFN single bag filter housing is used in process applications such as waste treatment and R.O. pre-filtration. Specifically designed for the use of standard and special filter bags. AFN conforms to PED2014/68EU article 4, paragraph 3.
Suitable for general industrial liquids for low flow applications
The amafilter® UF1, for size 30 and size 65 filter bags is ideal for use in general industrial applications. The UF1 is suitable to handle small liquid batch processes. The UF1-30 and UF1-65 are produced to conform with PED2014/68EU article 4, paragraph 3.
Suitable for applications where fluid does not come into contact with metal parts
The amafilter® S-AF1 plastic single bag filter housing is ideal for applications where fluid does not come into contact with metal parts. It is a polypropylene single filter bag housing.
Amafilter® multi bag filters housings are an easy to use, cost effective product for use in most applications and are ideal where high flow capacities are required. Bag filters are used in the filtration of liquids containing higher concentrations of coarse solids, handling batches of (various) liquids and as end-filtration or polishing of liquids with minor concentrations of solids.
Suitable for hazardous and non-hazardous liquid applications
The amafilter® MBF 8-14 multi bag filter housings range is available for a mininum of 8 up to 14 bags.
Suitable for water and hazardous and non-hazardous liquid applications
The amafilter® MBH 3-12 multi bag filter housings range is available for a mininum of 3 up to 12 bags.
Suitable for non-hazardous liquid applications
The amafilter® MBQ multi bag filter housing range are ideally suited where high filtration capacities are needed and processes which requires frequently bag replacing.
Suitable hazardous and non-hazardous liquid applications
The amafilter® MBF 3-6 multi-bag filter housings are used where high capacities are required and is available with minimum three up to six bags.
Amafilter® supply a wide range of bag positioners and liquid displacers to suit its range of bag filter housings. These accessories improve handling and make it easier to replace filter bags.
The bag positioner is both a positioning aid as well as a bag support in reverse flow.
It is available for filters AFB/AFZ-90 (size 1 bags) and filters AFB/AFZ-180 (size 2 bags).
The liquid displacers are available for size one and size two bags to fit into all amafilter® bag filter housings.
The liquid displacer reduces dead liquid volume significantly, ensuring minimised product loss.
The liquid displacers are made from stainless steel and designed for 150 °C.
Amafilter® offers a range of strainers suitable for a variety of applications.
These elements are often used as coarse filters to screen out larger particles before the fluid passes through a fine filter.
Amafilter® strainer baskets are available for size 1 and size 2 bag filter housings.
